Holiday Gift Cards

Published: Tue, 12/08/15

This weekend, I'll be celebrating Christmas with my extended family. We usually get gifts for all the kids under 18, and then do a gift exchange among the adults.  Since many of the kids are getting older, I purchased a lot of gift cards.

Yesterday, I went to the store to find gift card holders. I about died from sticker shock!  Most of the cute holders I found were $2-$3.  I certainly wasn't going to spend that to package a $10 gift card.  That makes no sense!

Necessity is the mother of invention, right?

I went home and whipped up several quick gift card holders (sneak peek below).  Most cost less than 50 cents to make.  I'll be featuring them on my blog this Thursday, so you'll definitely want to check it out.

We'll also be making 2 of them in class tomorrow.  If you are local, message me if you would like to attend.
